A tool you point at your own accounts.

Tabular is a Chrome extension and the small service behind it. You show it how to fetch records from a site you can already log into; it writes that down as a workflow you can read and edit, and replays it on request into a Google Sheet you own. A model helps write and repair workflows. No model runs one.

• Installing it is how you accept these terms. Along with using this site or the service. If you do not accept them, do not install it — and if you already have, uninstalling is how you decline.
• You need a Chromium desktop browser and a Google account. Chrome, Edge, Brave or Arc. The Google account is where your spreadsheets and your workflows live; connecting it is what creates a Tabular account, and there is nothing else to sign up for.
• You have to be old enough to agree to this. Old enough to enter a binding contract where you live. Tabular is a tool for handling your own financial records and is not intended for children.
• An account belongs to one person. Anyone who can reach your Google account can reach what Tabular filed there, so treat it accordingly. What happens under your account is yours.

This is the most important thing on the page. Tabular drives a site as you, with your session and your credentials, and we are not a party to your relationship with that site.

• Only accounts you hold, or are authorised to access. Using Tabular against somebody else’s account, or against records you have no right to, is a breach of these terms — and it is the one misuse the design cannot make harder, since the browser cannot tell whose login it is.
• Many portals prohibit automated access in their terms, including by the account holder. You are the party bound by those terms, and it is worth reading them. Nothing here grants you permission we do not have to give.
• If a site tells you to stop, stop. That is between you and them. Continuing to point Tabular at a site that has refused you is a breach of these terms as well as theirs.
• There is no evasion tooling, and there will not be. Nothing here disguises your browser, routes through anybody else’s connection, or works around a check a site puts up. That is a product boundary rather than a missing feature: it is the difference between automating your own accounts and scraping somebody else’s site.

Beyond the section above, and without much need for elaboration:

• Do not use the model endpoint as a general-purpose AI proxy. It exists to author and repair workflows. Sending it unrelated work is the one thing that would make the allowance a metered product rather than something included.
• Do not script against our API, or hammer it. The extension is the client. Load that degrades the service for other people is grounds for cutting an account off.
• Do not resell it, or share one account around a team. If several people need this, write to us — a shared workspace is designed and not yet built, and we would rather build it than police this.
• Do not work around the plan limits. The connection cap is enforced in an extension on your machine, which anybody determined can edit. Doing so is a breach even though it is easy.
• Do not use it to break the law. Including gathering other people’s financial records without their say.

• Free is free, and is not a trial. Two sheets kept in sync, with unlimited workflows, unlimited runs, one-off extractions, and AI authoring and repair included. No card, and no clock on the slot.
• Pro is $5.99 per month for fifty. Charged in US dollars, exclusive of any tax that applies where you are, and it renews every month until you cancel. Payment is handled by Stripe on Stripe’s own pages; card details never reach us.
• Cancel any time, in the billing portal, without asking us. Pro runs to the end of the period you have paid for and then stops renewing. We do not refund the current month and nothing is prorated, which is the trade for there being no minimum term and no cancellation to negotiate.
• Dropping to Free never severs a sheet. An account that had five connections keeps all five running and can create no more: the cap governs new bindings, not existing ones. The same is true if a card simply expires — nothing you depend on goes quiet because a payment failed.
• A price change is announced before it applies to you. Never mid-period, and never as a surprise on a statement. Cancelling is the answer if you do not want it.

There is a monthly cap per account on model requests. It exists so that a runaway loop or a scripted client stops, rather than to ration anybody: it is set where somebody using Tabular normally should never meet it.

If you reach it while using Tabular normally, that means the number is wrong. Write to hello@tabular.run and say so. It is not on the pricing page because a figure nobody is meant to reach is a figure people would plan around, and because one request from you is a loop of a dozen underneath — which makes it a bad thing to explain and a worse thing to promise. It is counted per person rather than per installation, so reinstalling does not reset it.

• Check the numbers before you rely on them. Tabular reads pages built for people, not APIs. A run can miss rows, misread a column, or land a value in the wrong place, and a portal can be redesigned in the middle of your close. What you file, report or pay from is yours to verify. This is a tool for fetching records, not an accountant, a bookkeeper, tax advice, or a system of record.
• A workflow that works today can break tomorrow. The sites change and they do not tell us. Tabular proposes a repair for the step that broke rather than leaving you a dead button, but no repair is guaranteed to work and some sites will not be automatable at all.
• There is no uptime commitment. This site and the service behind it can be down. Replaying a workflow you already have needs neither — it runs offline, on your machine — so an outage costs you authoring and repair rather than the sheets you already keep in sync.
• Curated workflows come as-is. The shared library is ours and reviewed before release, and it is still a starting point to read before you run it rather than a warranty about a portal we do not control.
• Formally: the service is provided “as is”. Without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. Where the law where you live does not allow a warranty to be excluded, it is not excluded, and nothing here is meant to remove a consumer right you cannot waive.

Your records, your workflows, the documents Tabular files and the spreadsheets it writes to are yours. They sit in your own Google Drive; we claim no ownership of them and keep no copy of them. The privacy policy is the detail of what does reach us, and it is part of this agreement.

• Telemetry is how a break one person hits becomes a fix everybody gets. Using Tabular lets us use that stream to build the shared library. It carries no records, no parameter values and no page text, and one switch in Settings turns the structural half off with nothing else degraded.
• Tabular’s name, this site, the extension and the curated library are ours. Your licence is to use the service as it is offered.
• A bug report or a suggestion, we can act on. If you tell us something is wrong or should exist, we may fix or build it without owing you anything for having said so.

• You, at any time. Cancel Pro in the billing portal, disconnect Google to revoke our access to your Drive, and uninstall the extension. Deleting the account row we hold is the one thing you cannot do yourself yet: email hello@tabular.run for it.
• Us, for the things above. We can suspend or end an account over the misuse described in this page, or where we are required to. Where the reason is not abuse we will tell you first.
• Either way your work stays yours. Your workflows and sheets are files in your own Drive, and one button exports a workflow as JSON that depends on neither us nor Google. If Tabular were to shut down, that is what you would still have — a property of the design rather than a promise about the company.

To the extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for data lost or mis-written — and the most we can owe you on any claim is what you have paid us in the twelve months before it, which on a free account is nothing. That is a real limit and worth reading as one: it is the reason the section above asks you to check the numbers rather than trusting them.

Some places do not permit limits like these. Where that is so they apply only as far as the law allows, and the rest of this page stands even if one clause turns out not to.

When these change the date at the top changes with them, which is what makes a change visible at all. If one materially reduces what you get, we will say so somewhere you will see it before it takes effect. Continuing to use Tabular after that is how you accept it; cancelling and uninstalling is how you do not.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute goes to the state or federal courts sitting in California. Where a mandatory consumer-protection law where you live gives you rights this cannot remove, it does not remove them, and you may have the option of your own local courts.

These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about the service, and they replace anything said elsewhere about it.
